Notes from Betty Smithson:
Our family and Aunt Jessie and Uncle John's family were very close. They lived in Holbrook for a few years and we spent quite a bit of time in their home. I was always so impressed by Aunt Jessie's beautiful home and her wonderful cooking. I thought she was so beautiful and wanted to look like her. Uncle John was always happy and a barrel of fun! He worked for Standard Oil. I have so many happy memories of Jackie and Beth Ann. One of the very best summers of my childhood was when Ted, Pat, Jackie and I got to spend the summer with Uncle Austin and Aunt Josie at their ranch in Colonia Oaxaca, Sonora, Mexico.
Why can’t I find them in 1930?
