Franklin Webster Butner Spurlock

"FRANKLIN SPURLOCK, MAR. 17, 1879; JAN 13, 1883."

Note from Betty Spurlock Smithson:  I remember being told by my Mother as well as Aunt Allie that Franklin died as the result of chewing on sulfur matches as a small child.  He was just two months from his 4 birthday.
